1.quebec--halifax-acadia-new england

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION: Eat and drink whatever you like. It seems speaking English is what kills you.

March 9, 2008 Matt reports: Another weekend, another wildflower trip! This time, we were going to head straight for Joshua Tree National Park to see what everyone was raving about. Then the reports came in about Lake Elsinore so we added a huge detour to our trip. We were not disappointed! We came across some great patches of Lupine as we drove down the 57 from I-210, and then again along the 71. This stretch is very nice and green right now, and a great warm up for what was to come. Once on I-15, we began to see the orange glow of the poppies as we got closer to Lake Elsinore. We got off the freeway at the Diamond Drive exit, drove along Grape Street, and parked near Sedco Heights Drive. Here, we were treated to an incredible show of Poppies, Canterbury Bells, Wild Hyacinths (Blue Dick), Fiddleneck, Chia, Popcorn Flower, and a few others, including some very pretty blue flowers. We then made our way over to I-215 by way of Bundy Canyon Road, and continued on towards Joshua Tree. We took another detour down to Mecca, and proceeded to take the drive along Box Canyon Road. The Sand Verbena along this road was nice, but not quite as thick as at Amboy Crater. Still enough to smell though! We also spotted our first Desert Blazing Star, which turned out to be in good abundance further up the road. At another stop to see a huge patch of the Desert Dandelions, I went looking for a Desert Blazing Star to show someone else what it looked like, and ended up discovering a Ghost Flower instead! Poor thing was just inches from the pavement though, and will likely end up under somebody’s tire. Box Canyon Road was a great drive, with its abundance of flowers and neat rock formations. We finally made it into Joshua Tree, just as the sun was about to set behind the nearby mountains. We took the little nature trail just inside the park, and saw lots of the Arizona Lupine, Desert Poppies, Chia, and a surprising amount of Purple Mat. Further up the road we saw some large Desert Blazing Stars (20+ flowers on one plant), some blue Canterbury Bells, several Bladderpods, and even a few Bigelow Monkeyflowers! By the time we reached the Visitor Center, it was getting dark, so we turned around and did not get to see the rest of the park. Despite that, it was another incredible trip!
March 8, 2008 Susan reports: Lake Elsinore. The hill behind Walmart on Grape Street (I-15 Frwy and Railroad Canyon Road offramp). The hill is spectacular and covered with white, orange poppies, purple and blue. It is thick with flowers. All along Railroad Canyon Road between the I-15 Frwy and Canyon Lake the orange poppies are in full bloom. The hills are orange. Good access points are on the turnout for the water treatment plant and going up from the parking lot at the intersection of RR Cnyn Rd and Canyon Hills (light) by the Chevron station. Poppies are spectacular along the I-15 from Corona through Wildomar on the east side. A good turn off point is Lake Street. Follow the road that parallels the freeway south about ¼ mile. There is a thickly covered hill with easy access there.
March 5, 2008 Charity reports: Just thought you would like to know that there are a ton of flowers blooming right now in Lake Elsinore along Interstate 15. The hillsides are covered with California Poppies, in fact there are so many the hillsides have turned bright gold. There are also many Canterbury Bells, Chia, Lupines, Phacelia, Fiddleneck, and many others. Many of these flowers can be found right next to the road on Grape Street, which paralells the freeway just south of the Diamond Drive exit. It's been a few years since the bloom was this good. I am sending along a few photos as well. Also the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve in Murrieta is blooming right now as well, with lupines, ground pink, shooting stars, chocolate lilies, california poppies, blue dicks, johnny jump ups, goldfields, milk maids and many others.
March 4, 2008 Matt reports: We paid another visit to Amboy Crater on Sunday March 2, and were once again treated to an incredible show. We began to notice yellow flowers along National Trails Highway a few miles west of the turnoff for the crater. Closer inspection revealed that they were mostly the Yellow Cups, with some nice Purple Phacelia mixed in. Once at the crater, the Desert Sunflowers were once again magnificent, probably even more so that last week. They are definitely at or near their peak. At the base of the crater just beyond the bench, there was also a nice display of the Desert Lilies, which are now beginning to bloom. We also found several of the Desert Five Spots within a couple hundred feet of the bench, both up the hill and in the small wash nearby. There was one Five Spot bush that must have had 20 flowers open at once, and many more to come! We found more Five Spots inside the crater (didn't see the white one though) and climbed all the way to the rim to enjoy the view from up there. At the top, we discovered that most of the green covering the side of the crater was actually Rock Daisies, which were also blooming in large numbers. Some smaller Purple Phacelia were also blooming in several places around the rim of the crater. Amboy Crater was so enjoyable that we spent longer than we had anticipated there, and didn't have enough time to visit Joshua Tree National Park. We did continue south along Amboy Road to 29 Palms, stopping at some of the places we had the week before. The Arizona Lupine through Sheep Hole Pass is still looking good, but definitely beginning to fade a little bit. Along the East/West section of Amboy Road, there is still plenty of the Sand Verbena and Dune Evening Primrose to be seen. It was another enjoyable trip though!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0756683/
I'm not a genius, I just have time...

这个是honey/sunny
